Job summary

Endo Health, Inc. is pursuing a new kind of self-driving healthcare, starting with GLP-1 care. We seek a Medical Director with broad clinical judgment and strong informatics experience to define how information becomes decisions and how care is delivered at scale.

You will lead clinical workflows, work with physicians, engineers, and researchers, and ensure quality and oversight across the service. This is hands-on leadership with a founding-team mindset and relocation support to San Francisco.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active licensure appropriate to clinical responsibilities and patient population.
• Broad experience in internal medicine or family medicine with strong judgment across longitudinal care and complex patient needs.
• Hands-on clinical informatics experience: implementing clinical software or AI in real care settings and evaluating outcomes.
• Experience leading clinical workflows or quality improvement and collaboration with engineers.
• Clinical informatics board certification or virtual-care leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Bring clinical informatics into the product: define how patient information is captured and used across workflows and decision support.

Endo is building self-driving healthcare, starting with GLP-1s. We believe patients should be able to delegate the work of getting treated to an AI that knows them over time. That means getting care delivered, following what happens, and using each experience to make the next one better.

The Role

Healthcare is a system of clinical decisions, patient behavior, information, and operations. Endo is building AI that can work across those layers, starting with GLP-1 care and growing toward broader longitudinal care. Our Medical Director will help define how that system should practice medicine.

We’re looking for a physician with broad clinical judgment and clinical informatics experience: someone who understands how information becomes a decision, how that decision becomes action, and where the process breaks. You’ll work with treating physicians, engineers, and researchers on clinical standards, oversight, evaluation, and the evidence needed to expand the system’s responsibilities.

This is hands-on leadership. Our in-house Primary Care Physician will own daily patient care and build alongside the product team. You’ll connect that work to the larger clinical system: reviewing difficult cases, resolving gaps between workflows, and making sure improvements hold up across patients, clinicians, and settings.

You will:

You've done this before if:

• An MD or DO with active licensure appropriate to the clinical responsibilities and patient population.
• Broad experience in internal medicine or family medicine, with strong judgement across longitudinal care and complex patient needs.
• Hands-on clinical informatics experience: implementing clinical software, decision support, or AI in real care settings and evaluating what happened.
• Experience leading clinical workflows or quality improvement, and working directly with engineers to turn clinical requirements into functioning systems.
• Clinical informatics board certification, virtual-care leadership, or experience evaluating clinical AI interventions.
• Shape care from the beginning. Work directly with the founder on clinical workflows, the patient experience, and how the team learns.
• Turn observations into changes. Work alongside engineers and researchers to improve the system when you see where care breaks down.
