Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician in the Greater Sacramento area to join a mission-driven community health center serving diverse, underserved populations. The outpatient role supports a Monday–Friday schedule with an 8–5 option or a 4-day 10-hour shift.

You will provide comprehensive outpatient care, perform exams, develop treatment plans, order tests, coordinate referrals, document in the EHR, and participate in continuing education with a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Minimum 2 years post-residency experience; no new grads
• Active, unrestricted California medical license
• Community health center or FQHC experience preferred
• Bilingual English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care within scope of practice
• Perform history and physical exams, develop differential diagnoses, and create treatment plans
• Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate therapies
• Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when indicated
• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate patient education
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated care delivery
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering high-quality care
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Review and sign clinical reports promptly
• Submit billing and coding documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in continuing education and maintain licensure and certifications

Compensation: $231,000 – $300,000 annually (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM or 4 day (10 hour shift available).
