Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to join our mission-driven community health center serving diverse and underserved populations in the Greater Sacramento area. The role focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient care with a collaborative team in a Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00 schedule or a 4-day, 10-hour shift option.

Qualified candidates will hold an MD/DO, be Board Certified or Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine, and have 2+ years post-residency experience with

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• 2+ years of post-residency experience; no new grads.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license.
• Community health center or FQHC experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care within scope of practice.
• Perform history and physical exams, develop differential diagnoses, and create treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate therapies.
• Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when indicated.
• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate patient education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated care delivery.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Review and sign clinical reports (labs, consults, imaging) promptly.
• Submit billing and coding documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain all required licensure and certifications.

Compensation: $231,000 – $300,000 annually (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM or 4 day (10 hour shift available).

Location: Greater Sacramento area, CA (Multiple locations available)
