6 Degrees Search is seeking a full-time family medicine/internal medicine physician for the Greater Sacramento area, CA. The role focuses on comprehensive outpatient care in a collaborative setting, with diverse patient populations.

Competitive compensation ranges from $231,000 to $300,000 annually based on experience. We value bilingual clinicians and experience in FQHC environments.

Competenze

  • MD or DO graduate from an accredited medical school with a valid license in California.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license required.
  • Minimum 2 years post-residency clinical experience; no new graduates.
  • Experience in community health centers or FQHC settings preferred.

Mansioni

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care within scope of practice.
  • Perform history and physicals, develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and initiate therapies as indicated.
  • Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when needed.
  • Deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate patient education.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated care delivery.
  • Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality care.
  • Document accurately in the electronic health record, review reports promptly.
  • Submit billing and coding documentation timely.

Primary Care Physician
Compensation: $231,000 – $300,000 annually (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM or 4 day (10 hour shift available).
Location: Greater Sacramento area, CA (Multiple locations available)

We are seeking a full-time Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to join a mission-driven community health center serving diverse and underserved populations. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care within scope of practice
  • Perform history and physical exams, develop differential diagnoses, and create treatment plans
  • Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate therapies
  • Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when indicated
  • Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate patient education
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated care delivery
  • Maintain productivity standards while delivering high-quality care
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
  • Review and sign clinical reports (labs, consults, imaging) promptly
  • Submit billing and coding documentation in a timely manner
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain all required licensure and certifications
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Must have 2+ years of post residency experience; no new grads.
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license
  • Community health center or FQHC experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferred
