Job summary

CenterWell Primary Care, a Humana subsidiary, seeks a primary care physician for the Richland Hills, TX clinic. This role emphasizes hands-on patient care and attention to social determinants of health affecting outcomes, within a unique senior-focused care model.

You will join an experienced team with an established patient panel, seeing 12-15 patients daily with 45-minute appointments and time allocated for patient care and related tasks.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain).
• Current, unrestricted DEA license.

Responsibilities

• See 12-15 patients per day, with possibility to spend more time with patients.
• Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes).
• Spend 100% of time clinically focused on direct patient care and related administrative tasks.

A Day In The Life Of a CenterWell Physician

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
• Join an experienced team with an established patient panel
• See 12-15 patients per day. Opportunity to spend more time with patients
• Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes)
• Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient-facing time and general administrative time as it relates to direct patient care

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain)
• Current, unrestricted DEA license

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two+ years of experience
• 1+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
• Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$255,000 - $298,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
