Job summary

Geisinger Woodbine in Danville, PA is seeking Family Medicine and/or Med/Peds physicians who are passionate about patient-centered care and thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment. This outpatient, schedule-friendly role features clinic hours spanning mornings and evenings, one evening per week, and a Saturday rotation roughly once every six weeks, with 36 clinical hours and 4 administrative hours weekly.

Epic EMR and robust support help reduce clerical burden.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required; board certification preferred.
• Outpatient experience in primary care is a plus.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care in a patient-centered model.
• Participate in collaborative care with APPs and support staff.
• Maintain timely documentation using Epic EMR and dictation tool.
• Engage in academic activities and ongoing professional development.

Job Duties

What You'll Love About This Role:

• Outpatient-only schedule with flexibility to fit your lifestyle

• Clinic hours:

  • Monday & Tuesday 7:20 AM - 7 PM

  • Wednesday - Friday 7:20 AM - 5 PM

• One evening per week required

• Saturday rotation required (approx. 1 in 6)

• Schedule: 36 clinical and 4 administrative hours per week

• Collaborative care model with APP panel sharing

• Compensation - competitive salary ranges from $320k to $375k based on experience

• Up to $250k recruitment incentives

• Residency/Fellowship stipend - up to 45k; available up to 18 months prior to graduation

• Continuing medical education - 15 working days and $4,500 CME funds

• Fully paid relocation

• 401k - Geisinger annually contributes over $15k
