Position Details

Title: Primary Care Physician

Location: 3250 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC 28208

Salary: $215,000 - $245,000* (wider range depending on experience and location)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Role Description

The Primary Care Physician at Oak Street Health provides equitable, effective value-based healthcare to local Medicare patients. Operating at a single medical center supported by large care teams, our physicians focus on delivering quality care, not volume. Our model rewards outcomes, minimizes hospital admissions, emphasizes preventive medicine, and enhances patient experience.

We encourage new graduates motivated to serve older adults to apply. Highly qualified candidates may be considered for a Center Medical Director role.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients
• Oversee primary care delivery
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Maintain Electronic Medical Records via Canopy and Greenway
• Collaborate with leadership to meet health quality goals
• Manage center care teams with Practice Managers
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO graduate
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Unrestricted State License
• Active DEA license
• US work authorization
• Alignment with “Oaky” values

Preferred Qualifications

• Geriatrics fellowship training
• Experience with geriatric populations
• Experience in value-based healthcare
• Collaborative care experience
• Outpatient primary care experience
• Bilingual skills where applicable
