About the Opportunity :

• Start Date : ASAP
• Schedule : Monday to Friday

Responsibilities :

• Diagnosing and providing treatment plans for patients
• Completing and participating in chart review process; handling referral and follow-up of patients when needed
• Overseeing the clinical work of students or new providers, ensuring they adhere to best practices and organizational standards
• Providing mentorship and guidance to students or new providers, helping them develop their clinical skills and professional behavior
• Facilitating educational sessions, workshops or seminars to enhance the learning experience of the mentees
• Assessing the performance of students or new providers, providing constructive feedback and documenting their progress
• Ensuring high-quality patient care is maintained while supervising and mentoring students or new providers
• Working closely with academic institutions and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the educational activities and ensure a comprehensive learning experience

Qualifications :

• Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)
• Active / Valid license as an MD or DO in New York State
• Board Certification
• DEA registration

Desired Skills :

• Board Certification in Family Medicine
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Experience in HIV Care and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
