Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health invites a Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Round Rock, Texas. The PA will provide comprehensive care, manage both acute and chronic conditions, and work closely with physicians and the care team to deliver patient-centered services.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of PA experience, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, with flexible hours and potential for a four 10-hour day option.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• At least 1 year PA experience, preferably in primary care.
• PA certification/registration required; BLS required.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical exams.
• Assess and address patients' health needs and conditions.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and diagnostics.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within PA scope.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, meds, and lifestyle.
