Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtaining comprehensive and problem-focused medical histories and performing physical examinations.
• Assessing patients' physical and mental health conditions and identifying healthcare needs.
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions within the PA scope.
• Prescribing medications and developing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Educating patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and health promotion.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with physicians and the care team.
• Initiating referrals when appropriate and participating in population health efforts.
