Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Round Rock, Texas. The PA will provide comprehensive patient care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting, focusing on acute and chronic condition management and preventive health in a primary care context.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of PA experience, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Clinically confident and comfortable managing common acute and chronic conditions.
• Strong clinical judgment and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Assess health conditions and identify care needs.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and diagnostics.
• Diagnose and manage conditions within PA scope.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor patient response and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide preventive care and health counseling.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with the care team.
• Initiate referrals when needed and perform PA-procedures.
