Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care services in a non-acute setting. You will perform histories, exams, and develop treatment plans, coordinating with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

The role includes weekend and on-call coverage as needed, with eligibility for an annual quality-based bonus tied to population health metrics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in PA Studies or equivalent.
• Current PA license and PA-C eligibility or board eligibility.
• MSN and NP licensure with prescriptive authority preferred.
• Required certifications: CPR; ACLS; state and DEA licenses as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services for non-acute or chronic conditions in primary care.
• Record medical history, perform physicals, develop care plans, and document in medical records.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and attend physician for plan of care decisions.
• Triage calls, ensure continuity of care, and participate in quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
