Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks an Assistant Nursing Manager for Primary Care to lead nursing teams and support direct patient care as needs arise. You will coordinate orientation, competency oversight, and quality of care, while assisting with staff scheduling in collaboration with the Nursing Manager.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and efficient clinic operations within SEARHC's community health system.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional nursing experience; ambulatory care preferred.
• Active Alaska nursing license; BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing staff and ensure quality of care in Primary Care.
• Coordinate orientation and competency oversight for nursing staff.
• Plan and assist with staff scheduling in coordination with the Nursing Manager.
• Maintain nursing standards and participate in continuing education.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and health care team.
