Job summary

SEARHC seeks an Assistant Nursing Manager for Primary Care in Alaska. The role leads nursing orientation, ensures quality of care, and supports direct patient care as needed.

You will plan scheduling, manage resources, and collaborate with the Nursing Manager to optimize clinic operations. The position requires an Alaska nursing license, BLS certification within 6 months, and at least two years of ambulatory nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of professional nursing experience, ambulatory care preferred.
• Active Alaska nursing license (or eligible).
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care in Primary Care as needed.
• Administer therapeutic measures and procedures with an order from a licensed practitioner.
• Maintain competencies and monitor skills per SEARHC policies.
• Assist providers in medication administration and patient education.
• Lead nursing orientation and oversee continuing nursing education.
• Organize daily nursing activities and staff scheduling for efficient clinic flow.
