Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks an Assistant Nursing Manager for Primary Care in Juneau, AK. This leadership role provides direction for nursing staff, supports direct patient care as needed, and coordinates orientation and competencies in a busy clinic setting.

The incumbent will assist with staff scheduling in collaboration with the Nursing Manager and ensure nursing standards and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from accredited nursing program.
• Active nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care in Primary Care as needs require.
• Oversees nursing orientation and competency assessment.
• Plans and assists with nurse staff scheduling with the Nursing Manager.
• Maintains nursing standards of care and nursing process.
