Job summary

Mercy in Lowell, Arkansas, is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will coordinate with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and maintain Mercy Service Standards.

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Licensure: RN or LPN in the hiring state or compact licensure. BLS required; additional certifications may be required by unit.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications such as ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., etc., may be required based on position/unit.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, and the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
