Job summary

The HealthCare Connection is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join their clinical team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves providing high-quality primary care services, including patient assessments, treatment plans, and collaboration with healthcare staff. Ideal candidates should hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Ohio, and have at least five years of experience in family medical practice. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in family medical practice.
• Experience in a physician office, ambulatory care, or clinical health setting preferred.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain) is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care through diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtain and review patient histories and perform physical exams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and preventive screenings.
• Develop and manage treatment plans, including prescribing medications.
• Promote preventive care through education on health and nutrition.
• Document all patient encounters accurately.
• Coordinate care by facilitating referrals and collaborating with healthcare team members.
• Monitor patient progress and manage high-risk patients.
