Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its Primary Care team in South Orange, New Jersey. The NP will provide comprehensive primary care, evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions, perform exams, prescribe medications, and order tests in a busy, patient-centered practice.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited NP program with an active New Jersey license, ACLS and BLS certification, and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a team.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Experience preferred; new graduates welcome
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services in a busy practice.
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform physical exams and prescribe medications.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; manage patient panels.
• See walk-in patients as needed.
