Job summary

Atlantic Health Primary Care in South Orange is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a busy, patient-centered practice. The NP will evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions, perform exams, prescribe medications, and order/interpret tests.

Qualified candidates have an accredited NP program, NJ license, ACLS/BLS certification, and a strong work ethic. New grads are welcome; team-focused, independent practitioners are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active License in the State of New Jersey.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform physical exams and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Build and manage a patient panel and see walk-in patients as needed.
