BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES INC. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan within a multidisciplinary team in California.

You will perform health assessments, diagnose conditions, and create evidence-based treatment plans while coordinating care with behavioral health, care coordinators, and specialists. The role includes prescribing medications, managing MAT for substance use disorders, and maintaining thorough EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current California NP license and RN license.
• Board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner or applicable specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Perform health assessments, examinations, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate orders for tests and imaging as appropriate.
• Document encounters in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and community resources.
• Deliver MAT services for substance use disorders per guidelines and protocols.
