Job summary

Wellpath in California is seeking a Nurse Practitioner MAT to provide comprehensive medical care to patients, operating within established policies and state regulations under the guidance of the Site Medical Director and fellow site physicians.

You will perform meticulous documentation of services, ensure timely communication for coverage, and collaborate with clinic staff to support opioid-dependent patients and related comorbidities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Advanced NP degree required.
• 2 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Must hold current NP license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must obtain DATA 2000 Waiver or be willing to do so.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and assess referred patients.
• Provide guidance and training to medical staff; participate in case conferences; document patient progress in SOAP format.
• Respond to health emergencies per protocols and coordinate with the Medical Director.
• Diagnose opioid dependence and coexisting medical/psychiatric disorders; make referrals as needed.
• Prescribe tailored patient care regimens while maintaining confidentiality.
