Job summary

Qualifications

Licensed in Illinois as an advanced practice nurse and controlled substance provider.
Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) for Nurse Practitioners.
Valid DEA certificate.
Current BLS and ACLS certification.
Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide primary health care in collaboration with the health care team.
Complies with policies, procedures, directives and mandates for provision of medical care.
Precepts health sciences students and participates in affiliated activities.
Maintains license, recertification and required CEUs.
Participates in staff meetings, QA and community education programs.
Acts as alternate/back up medical provider for special projects when needed.
