Advocate Health seeks an Advanced Practice Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in Illinois. The role requires a Master's Degree in Nursing, active RN license, and APRN licensure with board certification. DEA registration and state licensing requirements must be met.

The APRN will work within an interdisciplinary team, perform assessments, manage treatment plans, and document care in the EMR. This position emphasizes patient education, safety, and adherence to evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois and APRN license in state of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• DEA registration prior to hire.
• Illinois Controlled Substance License, if applicable.
• BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required.

Responsabilités

• Assesses, diagnoses, and determines treatment plans appropriate for age and condition.
• Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic studies and prescribes therapies.
• Provides health promotion, disease prevention, and management counseling.
• Works within an interdisciplinary team and seeks referrals as needed.
• Maintains EMR documentation and compliant coding/billing.
• Participates in quality, safety, and peer review initiatives.
• Educates and onboarding of new team members and healthcare professionals.
