Job summary

Mainline Health Systems, Inc. in Arkansas is seeking a Clinical Nurse who collaborates with physicians, APNs and PAs to provide primary health care within a Patient Centered Medical Home model.

The role includes preparing patients, triaging and documenting vital information, updating EMR, administering medications, coordinating referrals, and maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms. The schedule varies by clinic location and requires flexibility to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Must have current license as Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas.
• Experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Sufficient experience to carry out the duties of the position, including computer and typing skills to be able to manage EMR documentation.
• Must have current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must have the ability to relate with warmth and effectiveness to the patients and to the providers of the Community Health Center.
• Must be available to work in the Clinic during regular schedule hours or request all time away from clinic with Clinic Manager in advance on ADP.

Responsibilities

• Prep electronic record each AM for patient’s appointment for the day and gather needed documents.
• Triage patients: allergies, vitals, BMI, immunizations, and related data.
• Review medications and update EMR to reflect current prescriptions.
• Assist provider with examinations and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Administer medications as ordered and document in EMR.
