Job summary

Akido is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join RIPC Medical Group in Rhode Island in an outpatient setting. You will work with physicians and care teams to deliver patient‑centered care under value‑based models, caring for a diverse patient population.

You will manage an assigned patient panel, see 16–20 patients per day, and use modern care models and technology to support care delivery. DEA/CSR and RI APRN licensure are required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or related).
• Licensed or eligible for RN/APRN licensure in Rhode Island.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• CSR in Rhode Island or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan.
• See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Practice in collaboration with physicians per Rhode Island regulations, including referrals.
• Manage an assigned patient panel with preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records.
• Perform in-office procedures based on experience (optional).
• Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available).
• Engage in team-based, supportive practice environment.
