Job summary

Akido Labs in Rhode Island seeks a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join a clinician-led, value-based care team delivering outpatient services to adults and children. You will manage a diverse patient panel with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and quality improvement, supported by modern care models and an EMR-enabled workflow.

You will work 100% in outpatient settings, see 16–20 patients per day, and participate in after-hours call coverage in a shared model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or related primary care).
• Licensed or eligible for Rhode Island APRN licensure.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility.
• Rhode Island CSR or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan.
• See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Practice in collaboration with Rhode Island physicians, including referrals as needed.
• Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive and chronic disease management.
• Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records.
• Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope (optional).
• Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model).
• Engage in team-based care and contribute to a collaborative practice environment.

The Opportunity

RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing, clinician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in a fully outpatient setting. • Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional)
• Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available)
• Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment

Who You Are

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required)
• Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or related primary care specialty) (required)
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Rhode Island
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain (required)
• Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain (required)
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care (required)
• Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions
  Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment
• Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)

Salary range: $120,000 — $130,000 USD
