Job summary

Atlantic Health Primary Care – South Orange is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative, patient-centered team in a busy primary care practice. The NP will provide comprehensive primary care services, including exams, diagnosing and treating acute/chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and ordering tests.

Ideal candidates will have NJ NP licensure, ACLS/BLS certifications, and NP program accreditation.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited NP program.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform physical exams and evaluate patients.
• Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Build and manage a patient panel and manage walk-in patients as needed.
