Houston Methodist Primary Care Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Primary Care to maintain and promote health of patients in an outpatient setting, under supervision of a licensed physician. The APP may perform physicals, order tests, prescribe medications, and refer to specialists as needed.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Nursing, NP program graduate, two years of APP experience in primary care, and Texas licensure with prescriptive authority.

Formación

• Master’s degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school
• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Two years of advanced practice clinical experience
• Two years of advanced practice clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or outpatient internal medicine preferred

Responsabilidades

• Lead clinical resources and provide coaching to develop colleagues
• Collaborate to foster healthy relationships in the work environment
• Communicate organizational information respectfully with staff and patients
• Coordinate patient care under physician supervision for defined populations
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to manage patient care
• Drive patient satisfaction through service standards and accountability

Educación

Master’s degree or higher from an accredited school of Nursing

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioners program
