Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioners program.
• Two years of advanced practice clinical experience, including primary care.
• Eligible for Texas license within 60 days if establishing residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive primary care.
• Order tests, prescribe medications, and refer to specialists as appropriate.
• Work in outpatient primary care setting under indirect supervision of a licensed physician.
• Promote patient safety and adherence to Houston Methodist policies.
