Job summary

Vera Whole Health in South Tacoma, Washington, is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (APP) to deliver primary care with extended appointment times and a collaborative care team. You’ll see 12-16 patients per day, develop personalized care plans with a Whole Health Coach, and focus on preventive and comprehensive care within a value-based model.

The role emphasizes relationship-based, whole-person care, impact on community health, and a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP/PA license with board certification.
• DEA registration and primary care experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain licensure in Washington prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based primary care services in a patient-centered environment.
• Build trusted relationships and help patients achieve health goals.
• Collaborate with the care team, including a Whole Health Coach, to develop personalized care plans.
• Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care, plus care coordination.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
