Job summary

Sockolov & Sockolov in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Primary Care NP or PA for a full-time role in a thriving family practice. You will deliver comprehensive care, perform health assessments, accurate diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment plans for adult patients.

With a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and no on-call duties, the position includes a strong benefits package and opportunities to collaborate within a supportive medical team.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor's program.
Completion of accredited NP or PA training program.
Active California NP or PA license (or ability to obtain).
Active DEA license (or ability to obtain).
Board certified.
Experience with medical coding and EMR systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver healthcare to adult patients in a family practice.
Manage patient schedule and medical records using EMR.
Select medications and document diagnoses and treatment coding.
Collaborate with medical team and refer to specialists when needed.
Maintain a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with paid charting time.
