Job summary

NOMS Healthcare in Salem, OH seeks a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide primary care services in a patient-centered, team-oriented setting. You will assess and manage patients following established standards, work with a collaborative medical team, and help expand access to care in the community.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Occupational Health experience preferred.
• Primary Care: Ages 2 and up.
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience.
• Current State of Ohio CNP/APRN/PA license.

Responsibilities

• Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations and policies.
• Perform a complete physical exam and obtain medical history; order labs and diagnostics as needed.
• Administer medications and injections per state law and clinic guidelines.
• Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, and health/prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians to manage acute and long-term medical needs; maintain patient records and triage calls.
