NOMS Healthcare in Sandusky, Ohio is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care services in a patient-centered clinic. The role emphasizes HIPAA/OSHA compliance, complete exams, medical history reviews, and coordination with physicians for ongoing patient management.

The ideal candidate holds an NP or PA credential with Ohio licensure and has clinic experience; EPIC EMR proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred and NP/PA program completed.
• Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience.
• Current State of Ohio CNP/APRN/PA license
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices and regulations to give and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete physical exams and obtain medical histories; order labs and tests as needed and interpret results.
• Administer medications and injections per state law and clinic guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments and prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians to manage acute and long-term medical needs and maintain records.
