Job summary

Premise Health in Morristown, TN is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide care to client employees and their dependents at our Health Center. The role is 32 hours per week, Monday–Wednesday, 7:30am–6:30pm.

Ideal candidate will have one year of primary care or urgent care experience. You will perform exams, procedures, develop care plans, educate patients, order tests, and collaborate with physicians to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN and NP licensure with current prescriptive authority as applicable.
• National certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• Minimum one year of clinical NP experience in primary care or urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accuracy and up-to-date documentation.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
