Job summary

Upperline Health Inc is hiring a Primary Care Medical Assistant in Orange, CA to provide high quality, patient-centered care within a supportive and interdisciplinary environment. The role involves supporting patients with clinical tasks, coordinating care efforts, and managing documentation. A successful candidate will have experience in a primary care setting, be bilingual in English/Spanish, and be committed to compassionate patient interaction. This full-time position offers a starting compensation of $21/hr and a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong knowledge of medical terminology and disease processes.
• Previous experience working in an EMR system is required.
• Comfort managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history.
• Assist NP with health assessments and in-clinic visits.
• Document clinical information accurately in EHR.

Skills

Certified MA or minimum of 2 years’ experience

Experience in a primary care / outpatient clinic

Bilingual English/Spanish

Strong customer-service orientation

Tools

EMR system experience (ideally AthenaHealth)

Proficiency in Word and Excel
