Job summary
Upperline Health Inc is hiring a Primary Care Medical Assistant in Orange, CA to provide high quality, patient-centered care within a supportive and interdisciplinary environment. The role involves supporting patients with clinical tasks, coordinating care efforts, and managing documentation. A successful candidate will have experience in a primary care setting, be bilingual in English/Spanish, and be committed to compassionate patient interaction. This full-time position offers a starting compensation of $21/hr and a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Qualifications
Demonstrates strong knowledge of medical terminology and disease processes.
Previous experience working in an EMR system is required.
Comfort managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history.
Assist NP with health assessments and in-clinic visits.
Document clinical information accurately in EHR.
Skills
Certified MA or minimum of 2 years’ experience
Experience in a primary care / outpatient clinic
Bilingual English/Spanish
Strong customer-service orientation
Tools
EMR system experience (ideally AthenaHealth)
Proficiency in Word and Excel
