Job summary

TriHealth seeks a Non-Certified Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in a primary care setting (Group Health Clifton-Internal Medicine, Cincinnati). You’ll assist in pre-visit planning, coordinate messages, and support care transitions under the physician team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EKG, injections, venipuncture performed per CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Room adult and pediatric patients with clinical procedures and immunizations.
• Schedule and perform pre-visit planning and coordinate care transitions.
• Document clinical calls, patient rooming info, and medication-related orders.
• Address patient messages promptly and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the treatment area and sterile procedures.
