Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification or eligible.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and nurses to maintain efficient patient flow and prepare exam rooms.
• Performs clinical tasks like ECG, venipuncture, vaccinations and specimen collection as directed.
• Sterilizes and stocks rooms, maintains inventory and adheres to safety procedures.
• Greets patients professionally and communicates with the care team to support quality care.
• Completes delegated duties and supports operations during openings/closings.
