Responsibilities

• Act as the practice-based medical assistant supporting onsite providers in primary care.
• Greet members in the waiting room and establish rapport.
• Prepare members for onsite and telehealth exams; take vitals and perform screenings.
• Close quality measure gaps and maintain medical record completion.
• Document medical and social history and initiate medication reconciliation.
• Set visit agendas and provide warm handoff to the provider.
