Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. in Missouri seeks a Medical Assistant or LPN Nurse for an outpatient primary care role. Join a mission-driven team delivering compassionate, team-based care. Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with a two-year outpatient experience requirement and retention bonuses for committed staff.

The role includes patient prep, vital signs, venipuncture, EKGs, immunizations, patient education, referrals, and record management, in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Two years outpatient primary care experience required.
• Medical Assistant Certification or RMA preferred OR LPN/GPN with MO NCLEX within 90 days of graduation.
• Knowledge of medical office terminology preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a busy clinic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and treatments, including vitals and histories.
• Perform venipuncture, EKGs, urinalysis, and immunizations.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Educate patients on medications and preventive care.
• Assist providers with procedures and manage referrals and records.
• Follow safety and infection-control guidelines.
