Job summary

Mercy in Springfield, MO seeks a Medical Assistant to support providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will assist with clinical procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and provide administrative support to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, MA program graduation, attendance at our MA Clinic Academy, BLS, and at least one year of outpatient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA Clinic Academy training required for new hires.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• One year outpatient or ambulatory care experience preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical procedures and patient care under supervision.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in EHR systems.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
