Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN for its Primary Care team in Saint Charles. The role offers a full-time schedule, 8:00am-4:30pm, with a compensation range of $22.98-$29.37 per hour and a retention bonus to support service needs!

The successful candidate will perform exams prep, vital signs, venipuncture, immunizations, EKGs, and patient education, while collaborating with a team dedicated to whole-person care.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Internal CHN Medical Assistant course or Nurse LPN pathway if MA cert not obtained.
• Practical Nursing certificate required for Nurse LPN.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for exams and treatments, including taking vitals and medical histories.
• Performing venipuncture, EKGs, urinalysis, and immunizations.
• Maintaining clean and stocked exam rooms and sterilizing equipment.
• Educating patients on medications, treatments, and preventive health practices.
• Assisting providers with minor procedures and physicals.
• Managing referrals, test scheduling, patient records, and supply inventory.
• Following safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines (CLIA, OSHA).
• Collaborating with patients and care team for a smooth, supportive experience.
