Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant to support providers and patients in a busy clinic. The role involves clinical tasks, rooming patients, taking vitals, and assisting with testing and vaccines.

Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, active MA certification, and BLS within 90 days of hire; 6 months of primary care experience is preferred. 40 hours/week, on-site with Mercy benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) preferred or required.
• Preferred experience: 6 months in a primary care setting.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for visits by entering chief complaint, taking vitals, and reviewing history.
• Perform rooming, medication reconciliation, and assist with in-office testing.
• Administer vaccines within scope of practice and coordinate follow-up appointments.
• Document care in Epic and help close care gaps per policy.
