Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; MA diploma preferred.
• Experience in a surgical office is strongly preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is required.
• Excellent customer service and ability to multi-task.

Responsabilités

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities: organize patient flow, prep exam rooms, accompany patients to exam rooms.
• Document patient history, charting, collect specimens, relay instructions, and assist patients as needed.
• Screen patients, document history, perform vitals, assist doctor with exams and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, phone calls, and other administrative duties as needed.
• Maintain and update patient records, manage referrals and prior authorizations.
• Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and assist with ordering and restocking.
• Obtain prior authorizations and book surgeries as needed.
• Floating to other GFP offices/locations based on business need.
