Ideal candidates have completed a Medical Assisting program; CMA/RMA certification is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include documenting in the EHR, handling specimens, and assisting with examinations in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of previous medical assisting experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) desire but not required.
• Certification or registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinic flow.
• Record in the EHR.
• Obtain lab specimens, performs tests, and documents results.
• Carry out routine testing procedures, such as hearing and vision screening.
• Greet patients with scripting and direct to the examining room.
• Assist nurses and providers with patient information and examinations.
