Job summary

Trinity Health's Mount Carmel Health System in New Albany, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a provider or nurse, following all policies. The role includes rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing routine procedures, with EPIC communications throughout.

Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:30pm. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of medical experience, MA program completion preferred, and BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years medical experience, or higher degree.
• Graduate of a medical assistant program preferred; MA certification preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and valid licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients; record height, weight and vitals.
• Review medical history and chief complaints, gather information.
• Perform blood draws, injections and EKGs.
• Answer inbox messages and follow up with patients using EPIC.
