Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in New Albany, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant to support primary care teams. You will welcome patients, take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, perform EKGs, and document in EPIC under supervision.

Qualifications include high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years medical experience, MA program completion preferred, and BLS/CPR. Full-time hours Mon-Fri 7:00am–4:30pm, competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with medical experience (1–2 years) or completion of a medical assisting program.
• MA certification or registration preferred; EMT/medical corps training also acceptable.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients: height, weight and vitals
• Review medical history, chief complaints, and gather information
• Blood draws, injections and EKGs
• Answer inbound messages, patient follow up calls and messages
• Using EPIC in daily workflow
