Job summary

Trinity Health Southeast office career opportunity for a Medical Assistant. The role supports clinicians with room setup, patient preparation, vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, point-of-care testing, and basic administrative tasks to ensure smooth visits.

Minimum education includes HS diploma or GED and MA program completion; preferred MA certifications. 2+ years clinical experience or equivalent for new grads considered. Day shift, full-time with Day 1 benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and MA program completion.
• Certification in MA preferred ( CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC ).
• 2+ years clinical experience or equivalent for non-graduates.

Responsibilities

• Room set up and patient preparation.
• Take vitals (manual and electronic).
• Perform EKGs.
• Drawing blood and injections/immunizations.
• Office tests (Point of Care Testing).
• Pharmacology.
• Administrative duties.
• Assist with in-office procedures/treatments.
