Full Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Perform clinical duties under the supervision of a provider in a high-volume, patient-centered medical clinic.
2. Check patients in, collect insurance cards, ID, paperwork, and copays.
3. Assist providers in exam rooms; escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital statistics, and document in the electronic record.
4. Give instructions to patients per provider's orders; access reports and labs; keep exam rooms stocked with medical supplies.
5. Take phone messages; provide feedback and answer patient/physician/pharmacy questions; other duties as assigned by Practice Manager.

Skills: Exceptional customer service and critical thinking; ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent work experience preferred.
3. Computer literacy.
4. Ability to stand, walk, lift, climb, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
5. Medical Assistant experience preferred.
