Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a compassionate team delivering patient-centered care. The MA will work under supervision to prepare visits, take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, perform point-of-care tests, and support administrative tasks.

Experience with Medical Terminology, CPR certification, and completion of an MA program or externship is preferred. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an MA clinical training program or externship, or 2+ years clinically relevant experience.
• Preferred: RMA, CMA, AMT or CMA certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care processes.

Requirements for working as a Medical Assistants, MA

• Graduated of a Medical Assistant Clinical Training Program or Externship program or 2 or more years of current, clinically relevant experience.

• Current American Heart Association BCLS / CPR Certification
• Completion of High School Diploma or GED
