Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Certified Medical Assistant who will work under the primary care operations team to support Mercy Primary Care Providers. The role partners with patients and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes and deliver safe, timely, and efficient care in a patient-centered manner.
Duties include completing rooming with high accuracy, medication reconciliation, and maintaining certification (MA and BLS where required).
Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Certified MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care Certified MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience: One year of applicable patient care experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
Education: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
